Increase Your Flexibility

Stretching should be an essential part of any exercise program and not justused in the warm up.

There are stretching exercises used before the warm-up and stretching excercises that are used after your chosen excercise. It's important to know that stretching can prevent injure to your body.

Some general stretching planning before you start excercising:

  • Before you begin any excercise you need to thoroughly stretch your body.
  • Stretch to the point of feeling discomfort but no more.
  • As you hold the stretch the tightness will should become less.
  • You should only hold a stretch for between 10 and 30 seconds.
  • Shake out your limbs between stretching.
